I recorded a song using this very same sample! I took mine from the Manson (1973) film I had on the computer, exported it with VLC.
Nice to hear a really clean version though.

The voice you hear on this recording is not the voice of Charles Manson. It is an actor hired by Robert Hendrickson for the 'MANSON' documentary. It was first pointed out by Lynette Fromme in her review of the book 'Squeaky'. The review was first found on Access Manson, and i believe has been added to the paperback edition of the book. The words are Charles Manson's but the voice is an actor, take a closer listen. The '67 recordings would be good to compare the voices. It seems Hendrickson had some occasional sound problems as the interview with Bruce Davis in 'Inside the Manson Gang' also is missing sound.
